Andy brings a rare blend of experience and expertise to his training, facilitating and consulting. A natural
story-teller, Andy brings warmth and humour to his delivery. He is also an NLP Practitioner, graduating through the
world-renowned ITS programme.
Andy is an expert in business development from strategic sales to face-to face selling and negotiation skills. He knows
how to win, develop and manage business relationships at the highest levels and has worked as trainer and coach in both
the private and public sectors.
A graduate of the highly-regarded IBM Sales School, Andy has developed business in both blue-chip and the small business
environments over a 24 year career. At IBM and later Compaq Computer he sold IT solutions business-to-business, working
on and winning major accounts such as Whitbread, Unipart and Rentokil and working both directly with the client and with
third-party integrators.
After a year spent running expeditions in Zimbabwe and Belize, he joined the board of BHP Information
Solutions, helping to take this specialist business publisher from post start-up to a 30-man strong business. As
Business Development Director Andy won over 30 new blue-chip chip clients including Sage, Microsoft, Scottish Power and
HSBC Bank. Andy is also a Director of The Small Business Company, an online training provider with clients including
Ulster Bank and Government Agencies.
