Kate Berardo specialises in global skill building, leadership development, intercultural transitions
and negotiations and diverse teams. She founded Culturosity® (www.culturosity.com) in 2003 and provides consulting,
training, and coaching to help individuals be effective global leaders and organisations to navigate complex cultural
challenges. Her training experience spans more than fifteen countries and has involved working with individuals from
roughly fifty nations.
Organisations such as Société Générale, Johnson Controls, Kellogg Brown & Root, L'Oréal, GlaxoSmithKline, and Texas
Instruments have entrusted Kate to help build the global skills of their workforce. Two of her latest consulting
projects have been leading a multi-country, multi-site strategic training initiative to launch a global resourcing
project and enabling international high potential teams to develop effective working practices.
Kate has worked at all organisational levels from staff to senior executives to reduce miscommunication, build trust,
and increase effectiveness. Her work has been the subject of media worldwide, including CNN's Business Traveler
and the Dubai daily Gulf News. Kate holds a distinguished Masters in Intercultural Communication from the
University of Bedfordshire, UK and is a summa cum laude graduate of Northwestern University in the US. She is the
co-author of Putting Diversity to Work: How to Successfully Lead a Diverse Workforce and Cultural
Detective® Self-Discovery. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, ArgonautOnline,™ and the
International Profiler.™ She is an active committee member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training
and Research.
Kate has lived in the U.K, Japan, France, Spain, and the U.S. and is currently based in Copenhagen,
Denmark.
