This Privacy Policy explains how SpokenWord Limited uses and stores any personal data you provide and the rights that you have to access your data.
SpokenWord Limited is a training company covering all aspects of business persuasion. The training provided by SpokenWord Limited can be conducted as a programme, covering a number of weeks or months, a training course with an agreed number of days and participants, a training workshop, a training seminar or one to one coaching sessions. The training is held either face to face at the premises of the client or an agreed location, by webex, videoconference, Skype or teleconference.
In all the training activities provided, SpokenWord Limited commits to complying with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation Act, 25 May 2018 .
What information does SpokenWord collect?
SpokenWord Limited holds the contact details of one key company representative at the client’s offices. This includes their phone number(s), email address and office address. This is required to exchange information about the training services that will be provided, feedback gathered during the course from the participants and an invoice following the completed training services. With the permission of the key company representative, SpokenWord will keep their contact information until the key representative requests that their information is deleted. This permission will be held on a database and in hard copy.
When the key company representative organises a training course, programme or workshop, they will provide the names of the participants attending and their job titles to SpokenWord in advance of the course. This is generally in the format of an attendance sheet. The list of attendees will only be used for the duration of the course and the information is not kept on a database.
On occasion where video is used during a training course, the permission of each participant taking part will be sought before any filming begins. The video will be used for feedback purposes only during the course. SpokenWord Limited uses secure cloud-based software to provide access to training videos. Access to these files are only shared to the participant, and that participant alone, should they request it. The video files are deleted after one week.
Why does SpokenWord Limited collect and use your Personal Data?
SpokenWord Limited will only collect and process your Personal Data in order to fulfil the terms of our contract with you for the provision of the agreed training services.
Will your Personal Data ever be shared by SpokenWord Limited?
No. SpokenWord Limited will not provide your details to any third party or use your personal data for marketing purposes without your explicit written consent.
Right of Access
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information that SpokenWord holds about you (full name, email address, office address, phone and mobile numbers) and to have any inaccuracies in your information corrected.
